Brr Brr Brr!!! - Romanticizing Winter in April
Canada weather is notoriously well known for being able to create all four seasons in one day. Last week we rejoiced on the patio, getting a serious Vitamin D fix (it was +26C) but then in a sudden gust of wind it all changed and we are again buried under a solid layer of wind whipped snow. I might be crazy but I kind of enjoy these random storms; for one we are getting some much loved spring moisture and, it instils a level of productivity lost to me in the summer months. Here are some images I snapped in the gusting winds the other day - the last bit of winter.

Wapta Icefields
These are a little late getting blogged, but a couple of weeks ago my great brother, Matthew Boekel, took myself, my boyfriend Geordie and two friend Peri-Ann Jones and Joel Jaques up to the Wapta Icefields for 4 nights of hut camping and 5 days of hoofing it around the glacier. We had a white out, a blue bird day and a bit of gnarly wind and the whole adventure was wonderful. My brother started Wandering Wild and is on his way to becoming a great guide, we were all so grateful of his navigational skills and positive attitude when we were slogging along. I have only attached a few images, but I hope you enjoy them.
