Welcome Baby Aidan

I had the good luck of making it back to Canmore a couple months ago (YES! I am behind on my blogging) to see my friends new baby. Patti and I used to work together at Zona's Bistro in Canmore years ago and Jeremy and I have had some fun times surfing and skiing together. I was so pumped to see their new little girl, Aidan, and am excited to be photographing their wedding in July. They are natural parents and it's so cool to see them completely smitten with their new little wonder.

Alberta Branding

I had the cool opportunity last weekend to check out a friends branding. The Nizniks live in the Antelope Creek area and have a LOT of cattle. I have never been to a branding before and it was an experience! It was a big play on senses with many sounds, smells and lots of people running around. Everybody there was so friendly and happy to answer my silly questions, blank stares as well as let me get in their space to take these photos. The Nizniks are a big family and afterwards had a meal prepared for all the help, it was delicious and they are a lot of fun to be around!








This is one of my favorites from the day. Brett and Sara are cousins and tied to the hip! They stick together and explore together and watching them putter around the yard all day was a highlight!
